SCHEDULE
DAY 1: Arrive in Lima
Your final destination is to fly into Cusco, Peru. However, most flights from the US go through Lima, where you arrive later in the evening and flights Cusco only depart in the morning. So, you will stay at a hotel at the Lima airport to get a good night’s rest, and fly to Cusco the following morning.
(If you see other layover options, please reach out to me and I can give you recommendations on how to proceed.)
DAY 2: Transfer to The Source and First Ayahuasca Ceremony
Your magical journey begins with an early morning private transfer from Cusco airport to the beautiful land at The Source. You will have a chance to settle in, get a tour of the grounds, and lunch will be served. We will gather as a group to discuss expectations for the week, and will kick off with your first ayahuasca ceremony as a way to open sacred space together.
DAY 4: Huachuma Ceremony
Huachuma (wachuma) is one of Peru’s most sacred plants, and its use can be traced back over 4000 years. Derived from the San Pedro cactus, Huachuma has been called “grandfather” (abuelo in Spanish) because of the wisdom and lessons that can be accessed during an experience with this ancestral medicine. This ceremony begins in the morning and extends throughout the day so that you can experience the beautiful surroundings and deepen your connection with nature. Ceremony is closed and experiences are shared over a group dinner.
DAY 3: Second Ayahuasca Ceremony
After breakfast, we will gather as a group to share experiences from the previous night. There will be plenty of time to rest and explore the land. Lunch will be served, and ceremony begins once the sun has set.
DAY 5: Rest and Chulla Chaka (Andean Sweat Lodge Ceremony)
After breakfast, you’ll enjoy a slow, restful day with group integration and spaciousness. Later in the day, we move inside the dome-shaped sweat lodge, where we are seated around the central stone pit. Ceremony is conducted according to local tradition, where we initiate healing through steam produced by pouring a herbal infusion over large heated stones. The mixture is prepared the night before the ceremony and consists of many herbs - including eucalyptus, molle, hampi rosa, rudachilka, and flor de azar - steeped in water. A cold plunge is nearby for a refreshing experience coming out of the heat.
DAY 6: Third Ayahuasca Ceremony
After breakfast, we will gather as a group to share experiences from the previous day and evening. There will be plenty of time to rest and explore the land. Lunch will be served, and ceremony begins once the sun has set.
DAY 7: Fourth Ayahuasca Ceremony
Our final ceremony with master plant teacher, ayahuasca. The day will be similar to Day 6, as we gather as a group for sharing, witnessing, and have meals together before moving into our final plant ceremony.
DAY 8: Rest and Despacho Ceremony with Q’ero Shamans
Today we will have plenty of space for rest, group integration, and delicious meals. You will have an opportunity to participate in an ancient Q’ero tradition, the despacho ceremony. The Q’ero live by the guiding principle of ayni, meaning sacred reciprocity; the knowing that nature is animate and we are all connected. The two major energies of the natural realm are the Apus, the spirits of the mountains, and Pachamama, the spirit of the Earth. The Q’ero call upon the Apus for guidance and assistance, and rely upon Pachamama for sustenance and livelihood. The despacho is a perfect expression of ayni - it is a gift, an offering, to nature. With this ceremony, we seek to bridge the ordinary and non-ordinary realms; to establish new patterns of relationship and possibility.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Cusco airport, feeling resourced and deeply connected to your Self and to Spirit as you re-enter your life.
